The Amarillo Montessori academy does not discriminate based upon age, race, ethnicity or physical disability. AMA accepts children between the ages of 6 weeks through 5th grade. Children attending the pre-K class must be toilet trained*. Prior to admission at AMA the parents and child are asked to come tour the campus and meet the teachers and administrative staff.
The admission paperwork must also be completed and the registration fee paid. If a spot is not currently available the child may be placed on the wait list after the admission paperwork and wait list fee is paid. Our goal is to enroll families who will both benefit from and contribute to the school community. If you are interested in enrolling your child in the Amarillo Montessori Academy please download the admissions paperwork and contact the office to schedule a tour. Tours are available Tuesdays – Thursdays from 9:00 -11:30 a.m. and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. The admission paperwork must also be completed and the registration fee paid. A 3% fee will be added to all credit card transactions.
*The Amarillo Montessori Academy defines toilet trained as:
- The child is able to dress and undress him/herself
- The child knows when he/she needs to use the toilet
- The child can wipe their own bottom with toilet paper
