At Amarillo Montessori Academy, we teach our students how to become socially responsible individuals. We do this by hosting numerous community school events to bring Amarillo, TX together. Students and their families are invited to join events and spread the word about our school supply drive.

We teach through our actions

The best way to teach our students is to show them how we interact with our community. You know how great Amarillo, TX is, and we want our students to know too.

We create a relationship with our community by:

  • Making lunches for homeless shelters that reduce our carbon footprint
  • Hosting a school supply drive for our kids that's open to donations from the community
  • Inviting community members to read and interact with students
  • Teaching our children to tend to the community garden
